Natlan is so close you can almost taste it! The new chapter in Genshin Impact’s history starts tomorrow with the release of Version 5.0. It will introduce a trio of new playable characters. Mualani (5-star Hydro Catalyst) is among them. To celebrate the arrival of this wholesome guide, developers have released a new character trailer.
“Typically, being a travel guide, the owner of a watersports shop, and a surfing pro are three distinct professions. But with Mualani, people can experience this three-in-one package in all of its glory.”
Mualani is a highly agile Hydro DPS. She can mount her reliable Sharky Surfboard and move at full speed on the water surface, liquid Phlogiston, and even on dry land. In combat, when Mualani is moving on her Sharky Surfboard and hits an enemy, she applies a mark and administers Sharky’s Bite, which inflicts more damage after several hits.
Together with Kachina (4-star Geo Polearm), she debuts in Version 5.0 Phase I, with Phase II introducing 5-star Dendro Claymore Kinich. At a later point, players will encounter Xilonen in Version 5.1.
