Developer HoYoverse held the latest Genshin Impact livestream dedicated to the upcoming Version 4.1 and the game’s third anniversary. As always, the developers went over the new banners, events, quests, areas and more. The team has also confirmed previously revealed quality of life improvements and shared more details. Let’s dive right in!
Genshin Impact Version 4.1: To the Stars Shining in the Depths will arrive on September 27th, just in time for the game’s third anniversary. To celebrate such momentous occasion, players will be receiving gifts. You can look forward to a total of 20 pulls, a unique gadget and a pet. Initial Top-Up Bonus Reset will be available after the version update.
Fontaine region will be expanded northward with the addition of the Fortress of Meropide as well as the floating water bodies and ruins. Prepare your gliders, there will be plenty to explore!
Additionally, players can look forward to the continuation of the Archon Quest that will feature both familiar characters and new faces. After the unexpected point that players might have already experienced in Fontaine AQ, the Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino makes her debut. What are her plans? Is she out to get the Gnosis? Two new characters join the roster and will be featured on their respective banners. Players are already familiar with Neuvilette, the Iudex of Fontaine. Version 4.1 will also give an opportunity to meet Wriothesley, the lord of the Fortress of Meropide. Their respective signature weapons, Tome of the Ternal Flow and Cashflow Supervision, will arrive on weapon banners as well.
Version 4.1 Phase I banners will feature Hu Tao (Pyro Polearm) and Neuvilette (Hydro Catalyst), followed by Venti (Anemo Bow) and Wriothesley (Cryo Catalyst) in Phase II. Finally, after three long years, players can get their hands on a Cryo Catalyst!
