Developer HoYoverse shared the full details of the character & weapon banners arriving in Genshin Impact Version 4.4 Phase 1. Players are in for two new characters just in time for the Lantern Rite Festival. Are you going to pull for Xianyun and Gaming?
Once the version kicks off, Cloud Retainer aka Xianyun will become available. She is the latest 5-star character to join the roster. As an Anemo Catalyst, she’s a unique support that can juice up the party’s Plunging Attacks while providing continuous healing. Cloud Retainer is an expert in all kinds of mechanical contraptions, her heart now turns towards the affairs of the mortal world, through which she walks under the name “Xianyun.” She is also the master of Ganyu and Shenhe and an old friend to Zhongli.
Another newcomer to the game is a 4-star Pyro Claymore Gaming. Check out his demo down below to learn more about his personality and abilities!
When it comes to reruns, the patch brings back Dendro Archon Nahida (5-star Dendro Catalyst), the best Favonius Maid Noelle (4-star Geo Claymore) and, to everyone’s great surprise, Madam Faruzan herself (Anemo Bow). Anemo boy mains, rejoice! Especially if yours is the pogo stick demon.

Gaming Character Demo – “Fortune Shines in Many Colors”
Gaming is the latest 4-star to join the roster of Genshin Impact. Hailing from Liyue, he is also the subject to the usual 4-star Liyue selector coming during the Lantern Rite, so don’t miss out on your free copy!

Gaming is a Pyro damage dealer who uses Plunging Attacks as his primary mode of attack. His Elemental Skill allows him to pounce forward, leaping high into the air after coming into contact with a target or surface. If he immediately uses a Plunging Attack, he will use Charmed Cloudstrider instead, dealing Pyro Damage to opponent.
Upon using his Elemental Burst, Gaming enters Wushou Stance and summons his companion, the Suanni Man Chai. Working together with Man Chai allows the CD for Gaming’s Elemental Skill to be reset repeatedly.
