Developer HoYoverse confirmed that the next Genshin Impact Special Program will be kicking off on August 16. Dedicated to Version 5.0: Flowers Respendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, it will introduce Travelers to Natlan and share some juicy details of the upcoming content. There will also be some promocodes to claim, so don’t miss out!
The special program will be broadcast on the official YouTube and Twitch channels on August 16 at 12:00 AM (UTC-4). The special art features the new trio of characters arriving in the upcoming version: Kachina, Kinich & Mualani. They have previously taken part in a number of videos, including the initial Natlan teaser: “A Name Forged in Flames”
Behind them, you can just glimpse the surroundings: the arena of the upcoming Tournament. Are you brave enough to compete? See you on August 16 for the first proper look at Natlan then!
At the moment, the game is going through Version 4.8 Phase 2, the last patch of Fontaine. It introduced a new limited 5-star Dendro Polearm, Emilie. Her kit works with the Burning mechanic, so she might be a great match with future Version 5.0 and beyond characters and mechanics.
Emilie is an off-field damage dealer who can provide continuous Dendro damage. Her Elemental Skill creates a Lumidouce Case, which will attack enemies at intervals. While nearby enemies are Burning and certain conditions are met, the Lumidouce Case’s damage and the number of attacks will increase, and also deal additional damage.
Additionally, Genshin Impact’s third version trailers OST album “Footprints of the Traveler Vol. 3” is out now! It contains tracks composed by HOYO-MiX, each one an original composition for the version trailers of Genshin Impact from Version 4.0 to Version 4.8.
