The developers of open-world RPG Genshin Impact have revealed the date of Version 5.3 Special Program. Mark your calendars: the first sneak peek at the new content and Pyro Archon Mavuika arrives on December 20!
The Version 5.3 Special Program will premiere on the official YouTube and Twitch channels at 07:00 AM (UTC-5). There will also be the usual three promocodes with Primogems, so don’t miss out.
HoYoverse had been on hand previously to reveal the trio of new characters arriving in the upcoming version. Those include the long-awaited Mavuika (5-star Pyro Claymore), Citlali (5-star Cryo) and a fresh face, Liyue’s little Anemo swallow, Lan Yan.
At the moment, the game is going through V5.2 Phase 2, featuring reruns of Neuvillette (5-star Hydro Catalyst) and Zhongli (5-star Geo Polearm).

- When: December 10 to December 31;
- Featured 5-stars: Neuvillette (Hydro Catalyst) & Zhongli (Geo Polearm);
- Featured 4-stars: Yaoyao (Dendro Polearm), Fischl (Electro Bow) & Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo Catalyst);
The 5 stars’ respective signatures – Tome of the Eternal Flow (Catalyst) & Vortex Vanquisher (Polearm) will be on the weapon banner. During this event wish, the event-exclusive 4-star weapon Mitternachts Waltz (Bow) as well as the 4-star weapons Favonius Sword (Sword), Favonius Greatsword (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst) will receive a huge drop-rate boost.
