Developer HoYoverse published a new Sumeru Adventure Journal blog post dedicated to the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 3.6: A Parade of Providence and the new areas and mechanics it will introduce. With “Gavireh Lajavard” and “Realm of Farakhkert” opening soon, the team shared a bit more about the mysteries located in the depths of the boundless desert.
“Legend has it that in the depths of the boundless desert lies a forbidden realm where few have ever set foot…”
You can find the Sumeru Adventure Journal here. Finish reading this volume to obtain 20k Mora as well as priceless knowledge of what lies ahead. During the new adventure, you will meet Par, the defenders of this land, and form a special connection with one of them, Sorush.
There will be new discoveries to make, such as the Tent Tortoise animals as well as new flowers and ore to gather. Of course, the new desert area will come with its own adversaries. Travelers will run into Anemo and Hydro Hilichurl Rogues, using fearsome scythe weapons, as well as new Consecrated Beasts.
But that is not all, for Iniquitous Baptist will stand in your way as well: a monster from the Abyss that wields multiple types of Elemental Power and that has gained extra limbs from its “evolution”.

Meanwhile, content creator KIERU shared the trailer for their upcoming fan-created Genshin animated short Pact-Sworn Pantheon, dedicated to Cyno:
“Seldom does Cyno disclose the details of his origins, as if bound by a vow of silence to some esoteric order. In our next anime short, “Pactsworn Pantheon”, we explore his rite of passage among the gods to claim the ancestral spirit of Anubis as his familiar. We’ll be showing it at Hoyofair on April 15th, don’t miss it!”
