Netflix Geek Week Brings Us Back To Night City With A New Cyberpunk: Edgerunenrs Trailer.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunenrs is coming and Netflix Geek Week has opened the gates to Night City and beyond once more with a brand new trailer and behind the scenes for this upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 spin off. The new teaser trailer, seen above, for this animated feature is a whole minute and a half of content. It gives us a very early look at the far flung future dystopia that Johnny Silverhand first led the public through back in Cyberpunk 2077. This time around fans of CD Projekt Red’s world of blood and metal will be able to explore what could come from another point of view.
Animated by the luminaries at Studio Trigger, this upcoming Cyberpunk spin off comes with plenty of pedigree. The team bringing this future dystopia has already impressed with the likes of Darling in the Franxx, Little Witch Academia, and SSSS. Gridman. The same staff gave us more than a simple teaser too, releasing first-look stills, an exclusive clip from the show, and commentary about the show’s development from key CD Projekt Red staff.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners follows the fate of a talented but reckless street kid, weaving through a society just as intertwined with corruption as cybernetic implants. Facing a range of new and familiar forms, the protagonist of this tale will aim to become an Edgerunner: a mercenary outlaw of the highest order.
