Somebody called the other emergency service over at Psyonix and Ghostbusters are back in Rocket League
Rolling into to bust some action in this motorized online sports title, the Ghostbusters are back, but not in the way you might remember. The return of the Ghostbusters to Rocket League after a stint in the game last year isn’t a rerun of the classic 80s icons, but a tie in to promote the upcoming launch of Ghostbusters Afterlife, a new film following on from the events of the original two movies about a team of scientists turned ghost hunters.
It also means fans of the hugely successful multiplayer can buy or win their way to some memorable twists on some familiar sights. These post Halloween treats include the Ecto-1 Bundle, featuring the iconic Ecto-1, signature white Ecto-1 Reel Life Decal, weathered Ecto-1 Reel Afterlife Decal, Ecto-1 Engine Audio, Ecto-1 Wheel, Ecto-1 BK Wheel, Spirits Boost, and RTV Trail for 1100 Credits. Players who don’t have quite that much or want to pick and choose can snap up the Ecto-1 Reel Life Upgrade Bundle for 600 Credits, Ecto-1 for 500 Credits, RTV Trail for 300 Credits, Spirits Boost for 400 Credits, Ecto-1 BK Wheels for 100 Credits, Reel Life Decal for 100 Credits, and Reel Afterlife Decal for 100 Credits, separately. Finally, the Stay Puft Goal Explosion is back too, but this time will be available for the first time in Painted variants coting 800 Credits each.
If you’re a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise then this might be worth selling your proton pack, although we’d have liked to see some items that weren’t tied to the items shop.
