Get In The Dam Robot and Watch the New Override Mech City Brawl Trailer

It wasn’t all that long ago that we took a brief look at an ode to every oversized anime beat down you’ve ever encountered, called Override Mech City Brawl. Now, The Balance Inc has unleashed a brand new trailer for anybody with enough guts and gears to get in the dam robot.

For any of you that missed our earlier coverage, Override Mech City Brawl is an oversized multiplayer mecha brawler. It features a host of massive competitors, a range of famous locations to tear down, and some utterly insane combat. Locations like Egypt, Tokyo, and San Fransisco are some of the stomping grounds for 12 unique mechs, each with their own fighting style. Kitsch retro robots, massive metallic dinosaurs, and the odd eighty-foot kawaii monstrosity are just a few of the available choices. If you were busy battling Super Sentai villains in your childhood or shooting off Gundam memes then Override Mech City Brawl puts you in the pilot’s seat.

More Than Meets The Eye

The latest update by The Balance Inc is more than just eye candy. The Brazilian team has released a little more information on the game’s story and, unlike some recent hit mecha anime, The Balance Inc isn’t leaving the aliens until the very last moment. Right from the off, Override Mech City Brawl’s single player mode pits players against a range of other mechs as well as waves of aliens, all intent on devouring your planet. It’s pretty standard fare, but when did anybody ever let a coherent plot get in the way of a good brawl.

As well as the new story mode, Override Mech City Brawl’s latest update detailed the Garage function. This previously unannounced option allows player’s who have conquered their foes to customize their mechs with some utterly ridiculous skins. It’s all very knowing and whether you jump into single player, versus, co-op, online, or local modes I think you’ll find this is incredibly fun.

If you’re ready to suit up and take control of your own brawl, Override Mech City Brawl is coming to PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC on 4 December 2018. You can find out more about the game at the official website.
