Take a peek at the other side in a new teaser for Urban Myth Dissolution Center.

Tokyo Game Show plays host to giant robots and anime escapades this weekend but take a trip to the other side of this Japanese institution and you’ll find a sneak peek at a single-player psycho-detective mystery. Developer Hakababunko and publisher Shueisha Games have released a new trailer ahead of this weekend’s event. The new trailer and third episode viewers will head out onto the streets and investigate a paranormal attraction.

Titled ‘Stairway to Limbo’, the new look ahead find Azami and Jasmine going undercover, joining the invitation-only “Ueno Occult & Dark” tour. Pounding the streets, these two investigators aim to uncover the organizer behind the event. What unfolds, is a disturbing connection and an uncertain end.

The trailer for this eccentric indie thriller is a look ahead to a title where you where players take on the role of Azami Fukurai, tasked with unravelling mysteries as she helps run the day-to-day operation of the titular Dissolution Center. See the memories of places through her glasses and encounter unique individuals along the way. There’s no need to rush to Tokyo Game Show to try it out. The Urban Myth Dissolution Center opens for business on February 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
