The Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta Starts February 23rd

Into the breach and the jungle once more...
ghost recon wildlands review

Buckle up your boots, boys and girls – it’s time to go back into Bolivia and take on the Santa Blanca drug cartel once more before launch. This Ghost Recon Wildlands beta is open to everyone, with pre-loading starting on February 21st before the servers open on the 23rd. All the content from the first beta is there, as well as a new region called Montuyoc. And of course, there’ll be no embargo, so you can all stream and tweet until your hearts are content. You know, like the cool kids do.

We also finally got word on the official system requirements, though they look to be the same from the Nvidia GeForce blog (which makes sense). Check them, an open beta trailer, and the official description of the beta below.  Guess what, even the Ouya controller is supported! Rejoice!

From official Ubisot Wildlands Open Beta announcment:

If you didn’t get a chance to participate in the Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta, we’ve got some good news! The Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta starts February 23 (with preloading available February 21), giving you an opportunity to squad up with the Ghosts and get a preview of what it will be like to take on the Santa Blanca drug cartel on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Running through February 27, this Open Beta features all of the same content found in the Closed Beta and more, including an additional province to explore called Montuyoc. Set in the Bolivian Altiplano region, this province contains heavily defended strongholds where the Santa Blanca trains some of its toughest soldiers.

  1. I know I wrote the post, but I’m psyched for this. To me, Wildlands is what Division wasn’t – fun.
