This Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium boss is simpler than the previous one. This guide will show you how to beat the second guild boss. In a nutshell, all you need to do is to stick close and keep at least three debuffs on the boss all the time. There are plenty of dolls who can apply debuffs, including standard and free dolls.
Boss Fight Tactics
The boss tries to push the closest and furthest of your dolls out, so just keep your dolls in a line similar to the formation below.
Defensive Buff
The boss hits the closest target, and if the boss has less than three debuffs, it gets an incoming damage down buff. All you need to do is to keep three debuffs on the boss. Tip: If your support Wawa got a bitter caramel (murderous intent) key, you might want to swap that key for something else. It prevents the boss from having ice debuffs from Suomi and Dushevnaya.
Shield up and stomp
The boss applies 7 7-layer buff on itself; these buffs go down by one layer from each target hit by the next stomp ability.
Keep all your dolls within the boss’s 4- 4-tile radius, and this mechanic will beat itself. Each layer left will transmit to the box summon, which you will need to break. If the boss stomps five units, the box has two layers of defense and needs two shots. If the boss stomps six units (Papasha bot included), there will be one layer to break. For each three units hit, the boss will receive a 30% defence debuff. The boss loses 2 points of stability per unit hit.
Box
The boss summons a box that disappears when its protective layers from shield up and stomp are destroyed. Layers go off with support attacks, attacks, and fixed damage. If you do everything right, the box will have only 1-2 layers of protection, which are easy to deal with. Ksenia can do a one-shot box with her S1. If the box survives, it will buff the boss. If you destroy the box your dolls will get stackable 20% attack buff.
The boss will attack every doll that has damaged the box. Support attacks can’t kill units, so if support attacked the box with support attack (support attacks like Suomi, Ksenia, not follow-up attacks like Nemesis or QJ), the boss will attack them and the doll who initiated the box damage. This attack triggers counters from Groza/Sabrina and Wawa ambushes. For more information visit the Goblin.tips
Turn Analysis
First Turn: Concentrate on stability break and just do damage. Wawa uses her ultimate on this turn. Move all your dolls closer to get hit with a stomp. Papasha should be placed on the middle spawn point so her robot also gets hit. Papasha should have the key that disables the robot’s movement.
Second Turn: Stay in line and do damage. The boss will conduct a debuff check.
Third Turn: Break the box. Wawa does her action after the box break. Her counters will get activated by the boss shooting dolls attacking the box. You can use supports or Papasha to break it so your main DPS can use abilities on the boss. On this turn, use Suomi’s ultimate as the last action so her shields last until turn 5. The boss will conduct a debuff check.
Fourth Turn: Stay in line and do damage.
Fifth Turn: Wawa uses her ultimate. If you used Suomi’s ultimate on turn three the right way, Suomi’s shield may last on this turn. The boss will conduct a debuff check.
Sixth Turn: Break the box. You can use supports or Papasha to break it so your main DPS can use abilities on the boss. Stay in line and do damage. The boss will conduct a debuff check.
Seventh Turn: Stay in line and do damage.
That’s it! The boss is down, so you move on! Let us know how the strategy worked for you!
