Godfall is coming to PC and now we know what specifications you’ll need to run this upcoming looter slasher.
Developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Publishing, Godfall is looking set to be the next big looter non-shooter as it armours up adventurers and thrusts them sword first into a brand new realm of adventure. The soon to land looter slasher is sure to look gorgeous when it arrives on Sony’s new Playstation 5 but PC owners can now gauge how far they can crank the dial with the release of PC specifications for the next-gen title.
Affordable Power
In a surprising move, it seems that getting into Godfall might not be as difficult as all the shiny plate armor and hyper stylized combat would make it seem. Despite the flashy trailers for Godfall, bare minimum specs come in with just an AMD Ryzen 1600 / Intel I5-6600, 12 GB RAM required to host some time in the fantasy world of NAME. Gamers will only need to add in an AMD RX 580 or NVIDIA GTX 1060 to get swinging. Of course, the recommended specifications do allow for a little more room, but we were genuinely surprised to see a GTX 1080Ti listed on the top tier recommendations. Anybody who missed out on a 3000 series NVIDIA card after a fairly manic set of launches last month might not have anything to worry about here.
We don’t know exactly what this means for frame rate and resolution quite yet but it’s safe to say that anything from a mid range build looks set to chew through Godfall. If you aren’t already sharpening your blade for Gearbox’s follow up to the Borderland’s franchise then you can still head over to the official Godfall website to check out more about this upcoming adventure before it launches on 12 November.
