Posted on Game Informer this weekend, it seems we’ll be getting a new and unique RPG from Sidebar Games. It’s a blend of RPG and golf simulation that takes a few pages from the surprise hit Stardew Valley (also coming to the Switch this summer). Called Golf Story, it’s something of an RPG adventure game where you raise your golfer through the ranks, make friendships, and so forth while becoming champion.

Golf Story, an RPG/adventure from a small team known as Sidebar Games, has been announced for Nintendo Switch. By blending elements of the classic sport with RPG elements, Golf Story looks like a promising, retro-styled indie that’s reminiscent of titles such as Stardew Valley and Mario Golf.
