The developers of epic deckbuilding RPG Gordian Quest have taken to Steam to announce the launch of the Kickstarter Campaign seeking to raise funds and port the game to consoles. The developers are looking for $25k total as porting requires a significant amount of effort in repurposing the user interface, graphics optimization, and reprogramming certain elements to meet the quality standards and requirements from the console manufacturers.
Raising $25k would allow the developers to complete the Nintendo Switch & PlayStation 4/5 digital ports and move onto stretch goals:
- Stretch 1 – Character Skins for Catherin, Kudo and Pierre – $48,500 (~US$35,000)
- Stretch 2 – Character Skins for Alphonse, Jendaya and Naran – $62,400 (~US$45,000)
- Stretch 3 – Character Skins for Ida, Bertram, Stroud and Lucius – $76,200 (~US$55,000)
- Stretch 4 – Special island with seasonal access & rewards – $104,000 (~US$75,000)
- Stretch 5 – Gordian Quest Xbox Port – $118,000 (~US$85,000)
