M.A.R.S. a brand new third person shooter from developer Subagames is kicking off Beta testing and you can grab a key to get in and crush your adversaries right now! Subagames is running the first M.A.R.S. Closed Beta from 17 December, so take some time to check out a bit more about the game then grab a key below.
In something of an odd twist for the current shooter market M.A.R.S. is a near-future sci-fi shooter that mixes in elements of more outlandish run and gun scenarios to make a very unique proposition for fans of the genre. Set in the year 20XX, the hive mind behind this over the top action forsee a future where bi engineered human factions fight against terrifying insectoid robots in a three-way battle for survival. Alongside high def graphics and a range of high tech weapons to attack with, the action in M.A.R.S. looks like it’s going to be something like a mix of Apex Legends, Counterstrike, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more.
High tech gunplay is, of course, central to this sci-fi shootout. Every weapon in MARS comes with both a Level and a Grade; each higher tier adding bonuses in terms of stats and abilities to your items! This isn’t all that you can expect in the upcoming M.A.R.S. Closed Beta test either. Players picking up a pass to enter the fray will find a range of play modes. While Classics like PvP modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Destroy are something we expect to see, I’m most excited about the possibility of trying something more exotic. Modes like Headhunter; where the player’s head will grow with every successive kill and the inclusion of giant mech vs mech action would make the soon to be beta incredible.
