Rockstar has thrilled legions of fans of the GTA series with the announcement of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The announcement came as part of the upcoming 20th anniversary of GTA III later this month. The Trilogy will include GTA III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher. Interestingly, the game will also be made available for iOS and Android mobile devices in the first half of 2022.
Players will be treated to “across the board upgrades” including graphic improvements and modern gameplay enhancements while retaining the look and feel of the original titles.
GTA Online players will enjoy a number of anniversary celebrations with special events and a few surprises along the way. The plan is to keep the party going throughout the fall. Players will find new commemorative clothing and liveries and an exciting adventure with some well-known and familiar faces.
