A new anime crossover begins in a Guardian Tale Frieren event.
Elven mages await your attention. The huge anime, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has landed in to Guardian Tales. Thanks to the new year, we’re a little late to the action, with the event kicking off on 4 February 2025, but we’re not at the end of this path quite yet.
Available now across iOS and Android platforms, the new crossover event brings something a little different to the raft of big anime robots and horror collabs we’ve seen lately. The new tale finds titular mage Frieren and her companions fall through a rift in space and time and become trapped in a world unlike their own. Only with the help of fierce guardians do they have any hope of getting home!
Between now and and 4 February 2025, players can collect and use some familiar characters from the wildly successful anime and manga, with their own unique weapons and abilities. Stark is already available to add to your team, but more arrive today. Frieren drops into the game on 7 January, and Fern follows on 21 January. Guardians can also exchange 200 Special Pick Up Tickets for a Collaboration Hero or Collaboration Equipment, unlocking more options in combat.
Events like these also introduce new activities and rewards. Leap into this other world and complete these in-game activities to grab a range of keys. Swap keys to evolve Stark to 5 stars and fully limit break the warrior. Weapons, warriors, and another world. It all sounds a little Isekai.
