Don’t get too excited, Gudetama is bringing an eggcelent new update to Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Say hello to Gudetama in the month of Meh. Sanrio’s adorably downtrodden superstar is visiting slice of life sim Hello kitty Island Adventure. Players building a home away from home in this adorable island adventure will be able to take part in an Egg Invasion event, see Nisetama-san, get cooking and more.
From now until 31 May, players will be able to find eggs around the island and crack them open. Once you’ve poached a few eggs, head over to the shrine and exchange this limited time currency for Gudetama themed rewards like clothing and furniture. Alongside the collection, players can crack on and get cooking. Roll over to the cooking station, the Egg Pan Station allows players to create egg-citing recipes this event has to offer!
For those that don’t understand the understated hype about this event, Gudetama is a Sanrio cartoon character with a unique style. Created in 2013, it stands out as a perpetually tired, apathetic anthropomorphic egg yolk. Much like Aggretsuko, the modern take on the adorable cast of this franchise has something of a familiar commentary on modern life. Its also adorable. For anybody who looks for a different take on the likes of Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing, Hello Kitty island Adventure is available on the Apple Arcade storefront now.
