Guild Wars 2 – Shadow of the Mad King Halloween Trailer

Arena.Net’s MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is celebrating the spookiest time of the year with the most wicked activities and rewards. Shadow of the Mad King returns with ghoulish capers, spooky fights, and holiday fun! Gather together with the citizens of Lion’s Arch to enjoy another year of tricks, treats, and terrible jokes.

If this is your first time clashing with the Mad King, check out the official guide from the devs!

  • The Mad King’s Realm
Go trick-or-treating in the Mad King’s Labyrinth, but beware the grisly monsters prowling the maze. If King Thorn’s endless armies aren’t enough to slake your thirst for combat, you can face off against other players in Lunatic Inquisition.
  • Reaper’s Rumble
Bring pumpkins to your team’s mausoleum to spawn skeletons, then use them to send the opposing team to their graves. If you’re in the mood for something a little less grim, take your roller beetle for a spin around the Mad King’s Raceway.
  • Ascent to Madness
Delve into the Mad King’s lair for a face-to-face battle with Mad King Thorn himself. Be on your guard—the diabolical monarch has deadly tricks up his sleeve. Cater to his capricious whims, and you may survive.
  • The Mad King’s Clock Tower
Race against time in the Mad King’s Clock Tower, Tyria’s most haunted jumping puzzle! Leap over the crumbling remnants of the clock tower, but be on your toes—one wrong move and you may fall into the rising tide of horror. Can you conquer its cruelty?
  • Lion’s Arch Festivities
Enjoy the spooky atmosphere of Lion’s Arch, but try not to make yourself sick eating candy corn. King Thorn himself—and his horrible sense of humor—will make his traditional appearance to play Mad King Says.
  • Tricks and Treats
It wouldn’t be Halloween without treats to go along with the tricks. Collect skins, miniatures, guild hall decorations, infusions, and more to keep the spirit alive all year long!
