The developers of the upcoming shooter Halo Infinite have released a new dramatic trailer titled Unspoken. Assigned to a freighter escaping the destruction of Harvest, two Marines confiscated alien energy shields while defending passengers from an enemy boarding assault. Their heroics led to a technological breakthrough that accelerated the development of the Master Chief’s defense system.
The video is presented as a monologue of a surviving soldier revealing the last moments of his fallen comrade to his parents:
“He was the brother I always wanted. He will always be my brother. And your son? He loved you. He loved you ’til the end.”
The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Here’s a fresh look at the Halo Infinite campaign that introduces players to true Spartan freedom in the biggest, most wide open and adventure-filled Halo experience yet, launching on December 8 2021.
