Halo Wars Definitive Edition is heading out to Steam for PC later this week. In addition, Windows 10 and XBox One players will also be able to get hands on the RTS classic.
Considered a classic, the 2009 game was part of the Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition Bundle. Up to now, it has never been available as a stand-alone game.

All of the new versions of HWDE will become available beginning April 20th. It has been reworked to run “natively” on PC and includes updated graphics as well as new achievements and all available DLC.
Set early in the iconic war between the Covenant and UNSC – made famous by the Halo FPS games. It provides a unique angle on the war while bringing new heroes to the battlefield. Control large Halo armies and direct them in action-packed warfare.
There is also a multiplayer component though there is no cross play between other versions of the game.
