Harvest Days Sprouts A New Early Access Release Date

Harvest Dyas, Toplitz’s new escape to the country, is set to enter Steam Early Access on 12 May 2022.

Pack your bags and prepare for a change of scenery with the news that slice of life sim Harvest Days hits Steam Early Access on 12 May 2022. Originally due to move into this state around April, the delay was just announced by publisher Toplitz, and comes off the back of a recent stint in Steam’s Next Fest. The extra time will allow the team behind this mix of Stardew escapism and a fully 3D environment to branch out beyond their initial expectations. Thanks to player feedback, not only will controller support be added in the coming months, but also an in-game map, more than 50 more cultivable crops, electric scooters and an all-new desert biome.

For those that missed the chance to try out this change of pace, harvest Days fits easily into the sice of life farming genre. It is something of a step away from Toplitz’s Medieval Dynasty and upcoming Sengoku Dynasty sims, where survival and realism are key to success. Instead, this laid back experience takes players away from the urban grind. Commuting is swapped for a stroll out to the stables and you’ll make your way as an independent farmer. Along the way this means tending to animals, growing crops, repairing the farm, and exploring this new life. When not working the soil, there’s a beautiful countryside to explore, lakes to fish in, and an entire community of new friends to meet. If you’re a fan of Harvest Moon and other cute sims but want a different perspective on the genre, then Harvest Days could be worth popping on your Wishlist.
