Prepare for a ghoulish new roguelite with 505’s upcoming anime inspired quest to free the Kingdom of Midra.
Just announced for PC, and available to wishlist over on Steam, Rogue Spirits is a visually distinctive 3D roguelite that plunges players into the afterlife. Floating through the world as the former Prince of Midra, players can spend their days escaping the great beyond by possessing enemy meat bags and working to free this fictional kingdom from a looming and ever-present evil.
Fight Evil From The Other Side
Aside from looking bright enough to stand out in the wave of recent announcements, Rogue Spirit should be a very solid stealthy styled action adventure. Developed by a team of AAA veteran developers, no formed as developer Kids With Sticks, the cartoon characters and feudal environment are the backdrops to a varied combat experience. Throughout 10 procedurally-generated levels set in 5 different biomes, players will take the time to possess as many as 20 different types of enemy with different abilities, weapons and playstyles. Coupled with plenty of essences, skills, and permanent account upgrades, this adventure to push back the forgotten nightmares of the past should provide plenty of variety.
If you’re a fan of action RPGs but want something a little more roguish for your time then this could be a great fit. There’s even a playable demo of Rogue Spirit coming on 9 June, ahead of its plunge into Early Access.
