Here’s how to get some help from your friends with the experimental Stardew Mobile Multiplayer Mode.
Stardew Valley 1.6 dropped across PC, console and mobile this week, but there’s one massive update that mean on the go farmers can finally get a helping hand. Developer
ConcernedApe confirmed that mobile players of the game now include an experimental multiplayer mode. Smaller screen farms will get almost all the same functionality as big screen and Steam Deck options, although this seems to be focused on bringing together players on the same locality rather than online multiplayer mode. A new blog post on the official website describes the current configuration:
Mobile multiplayer works pretty much the same as on other platforms, except there is no farm “discovery” capability. You can only connect via IP. You can, however, join a PC-hosted farm from a mobile device via IP.
How to Start Playing Together
A full step by step is also available, but you can head straight in by tapping the following.
At the leaves in this order: ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → … Then press the “?” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, ? )
If you need any more information the full walkthrough is available on the official website.
The traditional Stardew multiplayer experience allows farmers to invite 1-7 players to join them in the valley online! Players who dig in can work together to build a thriving farm, share resources, and improve the local community. This more limited co-operative farm is still a massive step forward for small screen players. Stardew Valley first came to mobiles on October 24, 2018, delighting players with its charming farming simulation gameplay on the go. The game is available across both iOS and Android platforms, allowing players to immerse themselves in the peaceful world of Pelican Town wherever they are. Priced at a one-time cost, It offers a complete gaming experience without any in-app purchases or ads, making it a App Store hit. The mobile version retains all the beloved features of the original game, including farming, fishing, mining, crafting, and building relationships with the townsfolk, and now multiplayer.
