Hell Pie, the upcoming out there platformer from Headup and Sluggerfly is set to cause a little bit of Hypa Hpya with a new crossover collaboration with the band Electric Callboy.
You heard right, completely out of the blue and in a somehow perfect combination, outrageous 3D platformer Hell Pie has confirmed a collaboration with German electrocore enthusiasts Electric Callboy. While the hellish looking old school inspired adventure isn’t even out yet, players eager to get their hands on this heavy metal infused title can be sure they’ll have the moves with in game skins based on the mullet-heavy Hypa Hypa, the head-pumping We Got The Moves, the gym-core extravaganza Pump It and the sci-fi-suited song that is Spaceman.
These skins seem like the perfect accompaniment for this epic where you grab the horns of Nate, the ‘Demon of Bad Taste’, tasked with gathering the disgusting ingredients for Satan’s infamous birthday pie. Along the way, you’ll be joined by ‘pet’ angel Nugget, a follower who is permanently chained to Nate. This means that as well as using Nate’s inherent bad manners to get your way, you’ll be able to flail around this hellion as a weapon come grappling hook. Like Mario’s own costumed adventures, Nate can adorn new horns and take on new abilities while out on this pie hunt too. It’s all about as od as it sounds and we’re not quite sure how this collaboration happened, but I’m sure the video announcement will reveal some details.
You can check out more about Hell Pie before it comes vomiting onto PC and consoles on 21 July 2022 by having a gander at the Steam Store page. As for Electric Callboy, this mischievous boy band is due to drop a new album soon and you’ll find them wearing the original costumes on tour now.
