If you’ve been dying to play Dying Light 2, you’re in for a bit of a wait as developer Techland has not indicated when the game will be coming out. However, all is not doom and gloom as the original DL game is still being supported. In fact, the Hellraid DLC is in the works for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this summer.
In the Hellraid DLC, players will face off against a host of new enemies in all-new locations. In addition, several new weapons will be added to give players even more firepower to take down the demonic hordes. To get started, players will interact with a very retro-looking arcade machine that will suck them into the new location.
Interestingly, Hellraid was intended to be a standalone 4-player cooperative game. It was announced in 2014 and then quietly slipped off the radar. While never officially canceled, fans are happy to see it making an appearance as a DL DLC.
You can learn more about Hellraid — including getting a look at that arcade game — by visiting the Dying Light official site.
