Sony is proving that helping those in need is a worthy pursuit. Today we’ve learned that gamers in Puerto Rico received a nice surprise from the gaming giant. Those folks who are PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now members have had their memberships extended for free. Sony has apparently done this as a result of the Hurricane Maria disaster.
One gamer took to Twitter to express his thanks for a gesture well-received:
We’d all have to be pretty cold not to think that this is probably the most awesome feel-good story of the week.
PlayStation Plus membership runs $60 per year, while PlayStation Now runs $20.
