Here’s What We Know About Marvel’s Avengers Premium Currency

Marvel's Avengers

With Marvel’s Avengers now available in Australia, Stevivor.com has posted pricing information for the game’s premium currency called Credits. This premium currency is used to purchase cosmetic items including skins, emotes, nameplates, Legendary Outfits, takedowns, etc. Items come in a number of rarities such as Legendary, Epic, Rare, and Uncommon. Over time, items available for purchase with Credits will rotate with some items becoming unavailable in the future.

Credits can be purchased in bundles:

  • 500 Credits ~$5.50 USD
  • 2,000 Credits + 200 bonus Credits  ~$22.00 USD
  • 5,000 Credits + 1,000 bonus Credits ~$60.00 USD
  • 10,000 Credits + 3,000 bonus Credits ~$110.00 USD

Players can also spend Credits on the game’s Hero Challenge Card (similar to a battle pass system) that opens up 40 tiers of free and premium rewards. Each Hero Challenge Card will set players back 1,000 Credits.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

MA is available today for everyone who pre-ordered the game on PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One. Those who make a Day 1 purchase will have to wait until September 4th.
