Blizzard Entertainment’s MOBA Heroes of the Storm just received a new update on the PTR (public test realm) servers. The most interesting addition is the Brawl Mode, with Brawls rotating on the 1st and the 15th of every month. Additionally, a number of heroes went through a balance update, including Auriel, Chromie, Johanna, Tracer, and Zul’jin.
Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard’s entry into the MOBA genre. Players are able to choose from a roster of heroes coming from various titles of the company, including but not limited to Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. The game was moved into a maintenance mode in 2022, affirming that there will be no more active development. The servers will remain operational with the seasonal rolls and hero rotations. Future patches will primarily focus on client sustainability and bug fixing, with balance updates coming as needed.
