Heroes of the Storm matchmaking is used to bring players of similar skills together. However, matchmaking can also mean putting two people together who end up falling in love. HotS has indeed done it all.

HotS matchmaking takes on new meaning
The two players from different locations in the world met early last year when they were randomly paired. Having a great time in the match they played, they added one another to their friends’ list.
The rest, they say, is history.
After their initial matches, the two kept playing together as well as progressing to voice chat. They finally met last summer and came to the conclusion that this was something special.
SadJetsFan posted a brief write up of their history on the HotS Reddit. In it he said:
We even lived in different countries so we didn’t really have expectations besides just being friendly at first. As time passed and we played together and talked more often, we both started to feel real chemistry between us. We then took our conversation offline, talking for hours on Skype/Whatsapp every night until finally.
