Nintendo has announced a new partnership with Kellog’s to bring joy to Mario fans everywhere. Super Mario Cereal is indeed a thing and it brings with it a new twist on the “toy in the box” of years gone by.
“HEY MOM! I got an amiibo!” say delighted chi…gamers everywhere.
You see, each box literally is (or can be) an amiibo! The limited edition box will be out on your grocery store shelves starting on December 11th. Much away and, when empty, you can tap the box on your Switch to receive an amiibo or gold coins or a heart in the game.

Even the cereal itself has a Super Mario twist, with colorful power-up marshmallows and a blast of mixed berry flavor in every box.
“We are thrilled to pack so much fun into one box of cereal,” said Brad Schwan, Senior Director of Morning Foods Marketing. “The package adds value and excitement for fans, with marshmallow shapes in the cereal inspired by Super Mario power-ups to tie the theme together.”
