Hi-Rez Studios has gone on record for 2021 with its list of plans for a trio of games. Claiming a very successful 2020, Hi-Rez CEO Stew Chisam goes on to tell the community that 2021 is going to be equally great, if not better.
“2020 was a huge year for Hi-Rez Studios and our development teams with the massively successful launch of Rogue Company plus record years for both Smite and Paladins. With 2021 calendars for each game full of content updates, Hi-Rez Studios will continue to deliver world-class gaming experiences for our growing millions of fans.”
Here’s what to look for in the year to come:
- Paladins – Season 4: Calamity will introduce additional champions, frequent updates, new LTEs, event passes, etc. Yagorath will be the first new champion to be introduced this year.
- SMITE – Season 8: Dawn of Babylon will introduce a new event that brings the Babylonian pantheon into the game as well as the first new Conquest map to be added in over three years. New gods will be added such as Gilgamesh and Tiamat and there will be new battle passes, cross-over events, and interesting new esports additions.
- Rogue Company – The team has plans to launch four seasons of cross-play action with each season introducing new Rogues, new maps, events, etc.
