Industrial Annihilation just launched into Steam Early Access, mixing the Planetary Annihilation universe with carefully constructed factory management.
Take a little bit of factorion and add some high gauge ammunition, and you’ll be a little bit closer to the latest Annihilation themed adventure. Designed and released by industry veterans who have more than a little history with large scale strategy titles, and Monday night Combat, this unique twist on traditional RTS should keep the numbers going up and to the right for a while yet.
The Early Access release follows on from a Kickstarter campaign and is just the start up phase for this manufacturing empire. Before it dominates charts, you’ll be able to grab it for $29.99 or local equivalent and help herd the development of the world. Featuring deep factory-building combined with meaningful competitive choices, the early format will unlock with ‘test campaign’ missions along with a few 1v1 maps for two-player PvP multiplayer. Here, you’ll become a master constructor with intricate production pipelines that supply your killer war machine. Create an artillery onslaught or a core crushing super bot, then unleash war. Chose form two unique factions, take on the all-new full single-player story campaign and wipe out a wave of diesel-powered opponents. Prepare for even more as things progress.
An additional part of the campaign and a second faction added during the Early Access. the team behind the action has also confirmed plans to add further updates, including skirmish mode vs an AI opponent and PvE multiplayer.
