High Flying Menace Goeland Has A Steam Demo

Fly, frighten, and be a high flying bandit as Goeland seagull sim gets a free demo.

Forget angry geese and problematic pigeons, be the seagull and cause utter carnage beside the sea in the new Goeland demo. Indie developer Bryan Martinethads released a demo of upcoming free roaming flight sim Goeland ahead of its final anarchic release, giving us all a taste of the mischief these feathered bandit s can get up to. Playing as a big beaked scavenger loitering around the seaside, this adventure allows players to take control of a mischievous seagull in a quirky, sandbox open world, where they manipulate humans and the environment to solve self-imposed challenges and complete whimsical objectives.

The new demo gives us a taste of a brightly colored set of sun kissed environments where players can interact with a range of puzzles and NPCs to setup and unleash ridiculous chaos. Check out the result in the trailer, where the inhabitants of each available island are beset by a flying thief, bird brained upgrades, and bananas situations. It’s all a little silly, but after the likes of Pigeon Simulator, Maneater, and Squirrel with a Gun, who are we to say this silly sandbox sim isn’t going to be a hoot?

Check out the trailer and try out Goeland’s take on the low altitude sandbox. Fans of Goose game are likely to find something here. Find out more on the Steam Store page before it comes to PC in the future.
