Honkai Impact 3rd, the anime inspired RPG that kicked off the Hoyoverse, has announced a new v5.8 update and a brand-new Flame Chaser.
Get ready Captains. Honkai Impact 3rd is set to get an update to version 5.8 and a brand-new addition to the game’s huge character roster. Titles ‘A Canvas of Stars’, the incoming update is set to land on 30 June when players can get better acquainted with Griseo. Described as a beloved kid who has been spoiled by everyone around her, Griseo leans into this artistic aesthetic, splashing paint on the battlefield. This PSY-type SP melee fighter provides a range of color buffs while landing attacks. While this physical support character has plenty of interesting ways to play, the artistry continues with an ultimate that unfolds a huge piece of canvas and deals one-time AoE DMG to enemies. Alongside the new character, players jumping into the latest version of Honkai can experience a new story in the latest chapter of this epic battle. A new card event will also add to the content. Journey of Painting Stars will challenge players to collect card partners called Painting Cards, and to form a lineup for battles. Various card upgrades can be gained by completing story battles and shop recruitment, so that players can keep boosting the power of their card partners. Of course, this means plenty of loot is on offer too, such as Crystals and Material Options.
