Developer HoYoverse shared the cute chibi recap animation for the Elysian Realm story arc in Honkai Impact 3rd. If you have missed these characters or want to refresh how it all started, check it out above!
In the video, Elysia narrates Mei’s adventure across the Elysian Realm from her first arrival and meeting with the Flame-Chasers to the inevitable standoff of Herrscher of Human: Ego against the Herrscher of Corruption, featured in the Because of You animated short. For the Thirteen Flame-Chasers, Elysian Realm wraps up. However, it will always be with us in memories, making this story real.
“She knew well that one should take all things with them when they pass on to save others from mourning. She also knew well that she could never do it. But what she left behind was too much… ubiquitous and perpetual. So she decided to act willfully one last time. All that she had seen, all that she had loved, and all that she had left behind… She willfully compiled them into a book. What she left behind is no more than a tale.
