Honkai Impact 3rd x Genshin Impact Crossover Event Is Coming

Honkai Impact 3rd x Genshin Impact

MiHoYo has finally confirmed that its two hit RPGs are about to collide in a massive Honkai Impact 3rd x Genshin Impact Crossover Event.

The news of this event just dropped over on Honkai Impact 3rd’s own social media channels with its very first RPG hosting miHoYo’s newest adventure for this collaboration. While the crossover was always an obvious conclusion for residents of both these games, it’s been some time coming. Not only are Genshin Impact and Honkai both part of the same studio, they do share a narrative connection.

Back in 2020, the developers of Honkai Impact 3rd confirmed that a quick glimpse of the Imaginary Tree featured Devalian, a massive dragon and a core part of Genshin Impact’s opening story. With a myriad of possibilities and a literal multiverse unfolding, it’s an easy leap to find the Traveller stepping into Honkai Impact 3rd.

This upcoming crossover event is likely to drive more interest in miHoYo’s anime robot battler, after the success of a recent Evangelion crossover. As with the Eva crossover, players of Honkai Impact 3rd can expect a bunch of new rewards, but we will leave that up to Twitter to leak. While we don’t officially have a ton more details on the update, we do know that it will land with version 4.9 of Honkai Impact 3rd. Which is already imminent. If you want to check out Honkai Impact 3rd before it gets some Genshin Impact action then head over to the official website now to jump in on mobile and PC.
