Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official HoYolab page to introduce Honkai Star Rail to the upcoming 5-star character Kafka. Along with a fellow Stellaron Hunter Silver Wolf, she is among the first characters players see when they start the game for the first time.
Kafka is a 5-star Lightning/Nihility character whose banner will be available in the second half of the ongoing Version 1.2. Her kit revolves around applying Shock and triggering existing damage-over-time effects (DOTs) on enemies, so she is naturally a great partner for Sampo:
- When: August 9 to August 29;
- 5-star Kafka (Lightning/Nihility); 4-stars Luka (Physical/Nihility), Sampo (Wind/Nihility) and Serval (Lightning/Erudition);
- Kafka’s signature 5-star Light Cone “Patience Is All You Need” will be on the weapon banner in addition to 4-stars.
“What else do you want to know about me? There are a lot of things I still can’t tell you about yet. But don’t be nervous. Ask away. I’ll answer four of your questions… I wonder, how many of them are lies?”

Additionally, the developers have revealed that Honkai: Star Rail Battle Records Widget is now officially available. The widget provides data relating to the game, such as date, check in, changing the widget’s background, and Trailblaze Power – all easy to see at a glance on your phone screen.
