Hoyoverse has announced that PlayStation 5 owners will only have to wait until 11 October before boarding Honkai Star Rail
Hoyoverse might be busy preparing to stop at Star Rail Version 1.3 Phase 2 on PC and mobile, but PlayStation 5 owners just got some much bigger news. The Sony gaming platform will join the adventure next month. The news dropped during the recent State of Play event and provided us all with a glimpse of what’s waiting for anybody wielding a DualSense controller.
Of course, that means a new trailer and plenty of stunning visuals. The latest game launch from Otaku powered studio Hoyoverse pulls players into a fantasy realm. Riding on board the Astral Express, you’ll take on an epic quest, build a powerful party of characters, and try out some stunning turn based combat. This free to play sci-fi fantasy title is lathered in a familiar anime aesthetic and drops as a free to play experience, so there’s nothing stopping you from trying it out before the studio’s upcoming Zenless Zone Zero begins chewing up more of your free time too.
Honkai Star Rail has already done impressively well across PC and Mobile, and Hoyoverse has confirmed PlayStation consumers will get the same meticulously crafted visuals and audio elements, the latest content, cross play capability, and cross save functionality. For anybody super keen, expect a time-limited pre-order bundle also comes available to gear up Trailblazers for the upcoming interstellar journey.
