Honkai Star Rail dropped a new trailer, trailing the backstory of upcoming character Fugue, in the Myriad Celestia Trailer.
HoYoverse has called something of a halt on the Miyabi hype to remind us that Hokkai Star Rail is about to get some new characters too. After revealing a Foxian addition to the space faring tactical adventure, the Otaku powered studio just dropped a narrative teaser for this new face. The latest trailer is titled ‘Myriad Celestia’ and describes a wandering hero with a missing identity. Walking a path between life or destruction, the tale follows a mix of disconnected memories and ties to the Senjo, and maybe our current cast of heroes.
The new teaser comes in at just under three minutes long and steps away from the in game animation of earlier reveals and gameplay snippets. Instead, the painted art style expresses plenty about the attitude of the newcomer and the cycle of her life.
“Benefactor, though the Cosmos stretches far and wide, and the stars fill the sky, as long as we hold each other in our thoughts, there will always be a chance for reunion.”
Fugue is just the latest 5-star Fire Nihility character to joining the Astral Express. She will step into the action during the Version 2.7 Phase 2. The eagle eyed might have noticed that she is a new form of an existing support character, but that’s befitting her story. I’m not going to spoil the story for anybody that isn’t far into the story, but fans of HSR can already head over to earlier introductions for a bit more on her abilities and backstory. That includes an interesting ability to allow one ally to reduce enemies’ Toughness regardless of Weakness Type. She also causes all allies to trigger Break or Super Break damage more frequently.
While HoYo fans might be preparing for the latest Genshin Impact Special Program later today or scrimping Monochrome for Miyabi, we’ll keep an eye on the next stop for Honkai Star Rail. You can join its journey, explore new worlds, and experience the impressive turn based encounters across the stars for free on iOS, Android and PC right now.
