Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official HoYolab page to introduce the latest permanent game mode addition to Honkai: Star Rail. It’s time to dive into Pure Fiction and squeeze every Stellar Jade the mode has to offer!
To participate in the mode, you have to complete Adventure Mission “Youci’s Clever Decor”. Additionally, players must finish the Trailblaze Mission “Xianzhou Luofu — Demise of Immortality, Finale of Calamity,” be at Equilibrium Level 3 or higher, and read specific Messages.
Pure Fiction contains a series of challenging stages. In this mode, you need to challenge the stages and earn the required number of points to pass the challenge and get splendid rewards. In addition, you will get extra rewards by achieving specific targets. The difficulty and rewards of Pure Fiction stages are not affected by your Equilibrium Level.
Players will need to assemble two teams and choose buffs per each stage. In each game mode period, there will be different effects called “Whimsicality”. Additionally, players can choose “Cacophony” buffing effects for themselves. Choosing the right “Cacophony” for your team might make the stage much easier.
During Pure Fiction combat, enemies will continuously appear in a limited number of cycles. Deal damage or defeat them to earn points.
