The developers of turn-based RPG Honkai Star Rail have taken to the official site with a flood of information regarding the upcoming Version 1.1, new character Silver Wolf, new Light Cones and more. Check out the HoYolab page to see the latest posts from the developers.
Silver Wolf is an upcoming 5-star Quantum/Nihility character that will be available in the next character event warp Contract Zero. Trailblazers will have a chance to take her for a spin during the Trial stage once the banner kicks off.
Silver Wolf has a unique mechanic to inflict Type Weaknesses on enemies. When she uses her Skill, there is a chance of inflicting a Type Weakness on an enemy target. The Type will be the same as the ATK Type of at least one ally currently in the team. Her Ultimate can also decrease the Defense of a single enemy target and deal damage to it. Whenever she attacks, this genius hacker has a chance of implanting a random Bug on an enemy target that can reduce the target’s ATK, DEF or SPD.
- When: June 7 to June 28;
- 5-star: Silver Wolf (Quantum/Nihility);
- 4-stars: Dan Heng (Wind/Hunt), Asta (Fire/Harmony), Serval (Lightning/ Erudition).
But that is not all: the developers have also revealed the contents of the Brilliant Fixation Light Cone warp. In addition to Silver Wolf’s signature 5-star Light Cone ‘Incessant Rain’, it also features increased drop rate for three 4-star Cones:
- When: June 7 to June 28;
- 5-star: Incessant Rain (Silver Wolf’s signature Light Cone);
- 4-stars: Subscribe for More! (Hunt), Memories of the Past (Harmony), Make the World Clamor (Erudition).
If you have decided to spend your Jades on Silver Wolf and the featured 4-stars but don’t want to dabble in the weapon event banner, there will be a free 4-star Nihility Light Cone coming from the Starhunt Game event in Version 1.1, titled “Before the Tutorial Mission Starts”. The event will kick off after the version update and will run through June 26th. Visit the official site to learn more.
Another alternative would be to visit the Messenger of the Forgotten Hall and shop “Light Cone Manifest” with Lucent Afterglow – a special currency that can be obtained by clearing the Forgotten Hall stages for the first time or by killing the weekly bosses in Echo of War. Doing Echoes of War also has a chance to drop a 4-star Light Cone.
Last but not least: new version means new Battle Pass aka the Nameless Honor event. Unlocking the paid version Nameless Glory will allow Trailblazers to obtain Stellar Jades, Star Rail Special Passes, a 4-star Light Cone of your choice and more.
But even that is not all! HoYoverse also announced a number of events and activities that will be available in Honkai Star Rail alongside or shortly after the launch of Version 1.1: Galactic Roaming. Let’s look at what awaits players soon!
- Version 1.1 Twitch drops – watch HSR streams between June 6th and July 5th to earn in-game rewards such as Jades;
- New Companion Missions – Version 1.1 will introduce Companion Missions for Silver Wolf (Punklorde Mentality), Luocha (A Knight Stranger), Bailu (Evanescence Like the Morning Dew) and Yanqing (Frosty Blade’s Trial). Finishing them will grant in-game rewards. Follow the link above to learn start times and prerequisites!
- Gift of Odyssey (June 7th to July 18th) – after the version update rolls out, players can receive daily rewards in the Travel Log each day after logging into the game. Rewards will be unlocked in sequential order according to the accrued login days. In total, you can get 10 Special Passes!
- Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities (June 9 to June 26) – The Belobog History and Culture Museum has been fully renovated, and the Trailblazer wills serve as the acting curator;
- Lab Assistants in Position (June 19 to July 3) – Wen Shiling is currently compiling research reports and she’d like to hire a research assistant;
- Planar Fissure (June 23 to June 28) – double drops from the immersion device in the Simulated Universe;
- Stellar Flare (June 28 to July 10) – Participate in a simulated battleground where you can fight against different opponents.
Version 1.1 also comes with a number of gameplay additions and enhancements:
- In-game chat with friends!
- Enemy Navigation for when Trailblazers need to obtain materials dropped by a certain type of enemies;
- Lost Trotter – while Trailblazers are exploring the map, they have a chance to encounter lost Trotters. Defeat them for extra rewards!
Once the banner of Silver Wolf is over and she leaves to hack something else, the game will swap over to Luocha (5-star Imaginary/Abundance) and his featured 4-stars. Have you decided who to spend your Stellar Jades on yet? Let us know in the comments below!
