Honkai: Star Rail kicked off the latest update, Version 2.3: Farewell, Penacony! In addition to the new banners featuring the debut of Firefly and the first rerun of Ruan Mei, it also introduces two new game modes and a variety of content to enjoy.
The main story of Penacony reaches its end in the latest Trailblaze Mission “Farewell, Penacony”. It’s time to stride forward to the next destination, but before moving on, you can bif a formal farewell to the white night behind you.
Additonally, Trailblazers get two new endgame modes to enjoy. The Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction get joined by a brand-new mode: Apocalyptic Shadow, featuring juiced up versions of older bosses like Cocolia and Argenti. But don’t worry, there are also powerful buffs to take advantage of! The first version of Apocalyptic Shadow is available right now.
Those who can’t stop testing the Simulated Universe much to Herta’s delight are in for an expansion as well. Finishing the main story or taking advantage of the quick start will grant you access to the Divergent Universe. It is a new branch of SU created by Screwllum and Dr. Ratio and focused on the “human world”. Check out the trailer above to see what it’s all about!

- Version 2.3 Phase 2: Jade (Quantum Erudition) & Argenti (Physical Erudition);
- Version 2.4: Yunli (Physical Destruction) & Jiaoqiu (Fire Nihility). The reruns are unknown yet, so stay tuned!
