Developer HoYoverse took to the official HoYoLAB page to remind the Trailblazers that they can take advantage of the Honkai: Star Rail pre-installation feature for Version 2.4. PC and mobile users can save themselves some time on the launch date by getting the bulk of the necessary files in advance. Note that due to the large size of the download, it is recommended for Trailblazers to download while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- For PC: open the HoYoPlay launcher. On the left side of the “Start Game” button, you will find the “Game Pre-Installation” icon. Click the icon to start the download. You can continue playing while the game downloads the data. PC pre-installation storage requirements approximately 14 GB.
- For Android & iOS mobile devices: launch the game. The “Resource Pre-Download” button will appear in the bottom-right corner of the login screen. Tap to begin pre-download. During the download, you will be unable to play the game. The mobile pre-installation storage requirements approximately 11 GB.
Additionally, the developers have outlined the upcoming flagship event: Saga of Primaveral Blade. The Wardance ceremony is approaching, and March 7th has been invited to become Yanqing and Yunli’s apprentice in swordplay. As her assistant, you will plan Swordplay Sessions to help her achieve victory in the eventual duel with swordplay.
- When: July 31– September 9;
- Requirements: Trailblaze Level 21+. The developers also recommend completing the Trailblaze Continuance “Xianzhou Luofu – March to Mystery: A Star is Born” and unlocking the Path of the Hunt for March 7th. However, the event is also available through the Finality’s Vision function.
- The rewards are split into regular and time-limited, and include over x1,200 Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny, Self-Modeling Resin, March 7th – The Hunt Eidolons, and more.
