The developers of turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail took part in the latest special program. Dedicated to Version 3.0: Paean of Era Nova, it shared the first details about the upcoming planet, characters, mechanics, and more. Let’s check it out!
The upcoming patch will mark a new era of the Trailblaze, with the Express crew setting course for a planet not visited even by Akivili: Amphoreus, only seen through the mirrors of the Garden of Recollection.
But there’s a catch: Regular Pathstriders cannot leave traces in the Garden’s Mirror. The fact that Amphoreus can be observed by the Garden proves that this world has given rise to at least three entities comparable to Emanators.
Instead of the Aeons, the inhabitants of Amphoreus believe in Titans, godlike beings who represent both benevolent and malicious forces. There are a total of 12, now lost to the encroaching dark tide. Over the thousands of years, Amphoreus took part in a Flame-Chasing journey to reclaim the Titans’ Coreflames and start the age of mortals, but the efforts were only partially successful.
Only six Coreflames had been restored by the Chrysos Heirs, with another six still remaining out of reach. Naturally, the Astral Express family and the Trailblazer will join the Heirs, starting with Aglaea (5-star Lightning Remembrance) to see the Flame-Chase journey succeed in changing Amphoreus’ fate.
The Trailblaze arc of Amphoreus will be the longest in HSR yet, lasting for 8 patches: from 3.0 through 3.7. The first goal on this journey will be to defeat Nikador, the Titan of Strife, who rules over Castrum Kremnos – or did so before falling to madness.
The new Version introduces three new playable characters, two of them walking the recently revealed Path of Remembrance: The Herta (5-star Ice Erudition), Aglaea (5-star Lightning Remembrance) and new Trailblazer Element x Path combo (Ice Remembrance).
Naturally, there will also be a number of new Remembrance Light Cones: from 3-stars to Aglaea’s signature 5-star LC. Below you can find the contents of the banners, with new multiple rerun banners featuring many powerful characters. Additionally, HoYo already revealed new additions in Version 3.1:
