The developers of the upcoming action RPG Horizon: Forbidden West have shared a new video to announce the Play and Plant program. In the game, a deadly blight is consuming the land and threatening all life on earth. It’s Aloy’s mission to restore the balance in her world and you can join her cause in ours.
“For the release of Horizon Forbidden West, we want to do something to help nature… with you. Just like how Aloy fights to save the Earth in the game, we can do something together to help our planet.”
Play Horizon Forbidden West and unlock the “Reached the Daunt” trophy before March 25th, and PlayStation, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, will plant a tree across the country to help complete 3 different reforestation projects.
ABOUT HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST
Explore distant lands, fight bigger and more awe-inspiring machines, and encounter astonishing new tribes as you return to the far-future, post-apocalyptic world of Horizon.
The land is dying. Vicious storms and an unstoppable blight ravage the scattered remnants of humanity, while fearsome new machines prowl their borders. Life on Earth is hurtling towards another extinction, and no one knows why.
It’s up to Aloy to uncover the secrets behind these threats and restore order and balance to the world. Along the way, she must reunite with old friends, forge alliances with warring new factions and unravel the legacy of the ancient past – all the while trying to stay one step ahead of a seemingly undefeatable new enemy.
