Milestone and Mattel have announced that the first Hot Wheels Unleashed expansion is getting ready to race off the starting line. The game’s first expansion DLC is themed around Batman and will allow players to explore Gotham and to take on DC Super-Villains in the first-ever Racing Season. The DC Super-Villains Racing Season will kick off on November 11, 2021 and will run through January 18, 2022. The Batman DLC will arrive on December 2, 2021 with a plethora of new content and features.
DC Super-Villains Racing Season includes:
- new challenges that, once complete, will unlock a large number of free and premium content
- six themed vehicles including Bane, The Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Black Manta, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn
- new customization options for The Basement and the Player Profile
- tons of gears and coins for everyone
The Batman DLC will include:
- a brand new Career Map inspired by Gotham
- the Batcave environment
- new tracks and items
- five themed vehicles including The Penguin, Robin 2.0, Armored Batman, Batman Rebirth, and The Joker
- the Joker Funhouse Split Track Builder Module
- tons of themed customization items
