With Kel’thuzad and his Scourge-themed goodies being available in the game, some thought the company will not release any new heroes for a while. However, Blizzard has published a new video showing off work in progress, including two upcoming Overwatch characters for Heroes of the Storm, a new Volskaya Foundry map as well as some skins.
Assault on Volskaya Foundry
Just like the two new characters, Ana and Junkrat, the latest map to be added to the game is Overwatch-themed. Players can capture the points and co-pilot a massive Triglav Protector to defeat the enemy team. The map also features brand-new objective, unique mercenaries, and snow-covered city. On the one-lane Battleground Volskaya Village, giant robots run amok. Each team receives a Protector at the start of the game. Be careful with them – the Protectors respawn, but only after both have been destroyed!
