Honkai: Star Rail, HoYo’s sci-fantasy turn-based RPG, is back with a new trailer for the upcoming region of Amphoreus. In Ancient Hymn, you can learn more about the past of this mysterious place, and the Titans that are forever bound to it.
The tale describes the heroism of Kephale, and how the Titan saved the planet.
“Eternal Holy City” Okhema, “City of Thousand Gates” Janusopolis, “Home of Sages” Grove of Epiphany, “Capital of Might” Castrum Kremnos, “Pearly Shores” Styxia, “Snow City” Aidonia… In the Golden Age of old, countless kingdoms flourished across the lands of Amphoreus. Now, most have been devoured by the black tide… In the hour of peril, Kephale the Sky Father bears the sun aloft, preserving the holy city as the last beacon of light. Yet, to mend this broken world, heroes must claim the Coreflames of the ancient Titans — even if that means challenging the gods themselves.”
What do we know about Version 3.0 and by extension Amphoreus? The new version will introduce a brand-new playable Path: the Remembrance. While its narrative function is tied to memories and its SU blessings favor freeze, gameplay-wise it will revolve around directly controlled summons. The first patch of the new region will introduce two such characters: Aglaea (5-star Lightning Remembrance) and a new Trailblazer (5-star Ice Remembrance).
One of the previous trailers has mentioned the names of the characters we are yet to meet: “Aglaea, Tribbie, Anaxa, Hyacine, Mydei, Cipher, Castorice, Phainon, Hysilens, █████████, █████, Cerydra …. Memories slumbering at dusk, please do not forget Amphoreus’ name.”
